If you applied to obtain a position to work on our heavy/highway projects, you should know that the majority of our field personnel are members of the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 139. As part of our labor agreement with this Union, Mashuda Contractors is required to contact them first for placement of employment candidates. If you are not already a member, we recommend that you contact this Union to increase your opportunities for employment in this industry. Their contact information can be found below.

Local 139 has an excellent apprenticeship program. In addition, they also hold yearly training seminars to familiarize qualified apprenticeship candidates with the operation of heavy machinery.
